Bo relaxed at his new home
Hi, I'm Jeff, and I have a love of horses and
have decided that it is time to start taking care of some of the
horses in the area that are being abused, neglected, or unwanted
and rehabilitate them, if needed, thus giving them a second chance
at a good life.
The first horse that I rescued is named Senior
Honors. He is an ex-race horse. We have nicknamed him Bo so the
Grandchildren can pronounce his name. His breed is a Thoroughbred.
I have put the picture of him that I like best here for everyone
to enjoy.
Mission Statement
The Mission of the J & J Horse Rescue and Riding Arena is
help both horses and people take steps toward regaining their lives.
Through our program we strive to:
Rescue horses that are abused, neglected, or unwanted and rehabilitate
them, if needed, thus giving them a second chance at a good life.
Provide victims of domestic violence, especially children, and
others, the opportunity to spend time in a secure country environment
and allow them to relax and horseback ride if desired.
Description
We are a No Kill operation that is on call 24 hours a day to take
in and care for horses when ever needed.
 |
We are starting a Capital Campaign to purchase a larger place
where we will have a barn, an indoor arena and an outdoor
arena.

 |
|
J & J Horse Rescue needs to raise $400,000 to purchase
at least 75 acres of land so we can care for more horses
and grow our own hay and oats to help cut our feed costs.
